Call for Papers
CYDEF2026 invites paper submissions on the following four thematic areas:
A. Resilience Under Pressure: Cyber Threats and the Future of Critical Infrastructure Security
Explores how AI-driven cyber threats are reshaping the security and resilience of critical infrastructure—from seabed to space. Drawing on research and wargaming, the session examines strategies for protecting the infrastructure that underpins national resilience.。
B. Cognitive Warfare and Resilience in the Information Warfare AI Environment
Examines how AI is transforming cognitive warfare through disinformation, narrative manipulation, and social media. The session discusses how societies, institutions, and individuals can strengthen cognitive resilience against these emerging threats.
C. Reveal or Conceal? The Disclosure Dilemma of AI-Enabled Offensive Cyber Capabilities and National Resilience
Explores the strategic dilemma of whether AI-enabled offensive cyber capabilities should be disclosed for deterrence or concealed for operational effectiveness. The discussion highlights why resilience may become the cornerstone of national cyber strategy.
D. AI-enabled FIMI: A Key Threat in Cognitive Warfare
Examines how AI-powered microtargeting enables highly personalized information manipulation that can influence elections, public opinion, and national security. The session also considers the implications for countering future hybrid and terrorist threats.
We warmly invite researchers and practitioners to submit original papers related to these themes.
Authors wishing to present at CYDEF2026 are requested to submit an English abstract of approximately 200 words, together with their name, affiliation, position/title, and a brief biography, by the end of August 2026.
Submission Address:
All abstracts will be reviewed by the CYDEF2026 Program Committee. Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to submit a full paper by the end of October 2026, Accepted full papers will be included in the CYDEF2026 White Paper.
